Northwest CSC Call for Proposals! Statements of Interest due January 20, 2016.
In Fiscal Year 2016, the Northwest Climate Science Center (NW CSC) will fund projects that develop innovative tools or adaptations intended to lessen the ecological impacts of drought (or ecological drought) as they relate to climate change. Through this solicitation, the NW CSC is seeking innovative projects to help us assess which ecosystem components and ecological processes are most vulnerable to pronounced water deficiencies and to test or demonstrate new methods or technologies intended to lessen or adapt to the ecological impacts of drought. The Climate Science Centers and the National Climate Change and Wildlife Science Center are moving to a regular 2-year cycle for their national call for proposals. The next national funding opportunity will be for FY 2017 funding and will be announced in 2016. Please continue to monitor the NCCWSC and CSC websites for announcements of individual CSC funding opportunities in the interim.
